ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Bristee Connor - Bio PictureBristee Conner grew up in Churchill County and moved to Utah in 2008. She graduated from North Summit High School in 2016 and went on to graduate from cosmetology school in 2017. She has been coaching power tumbling since 2017. Bristee is a USA Gymnastics certified coach and category 3 judge for both power tumbling and double mini. She prides herself on learning as much as possible when she puts her heart into something.

In March 2020 Bristee married her husband Dalin and moved back to Fallon. She can’t wait to share her passion for power tumbling by helping children in the community! Power tumbling is a discipline of gymnastics that is performed by doing tricks down a tumbling floor.

When Bristee is not working she can be found spending time with her family and friends and enjoying the water! She loves being at the lake, beach, or pool.  Some of her favorite activities include paddle boarding, boating, and hanging out in the sun.

ABOUT THE CLASSES

Power tumbling is a discipline of gymnastics that involves performing techniques down a tumbling floor. Competition power tumbling involves use of a mini trampoline and spring floor. Fallon Flipperz teaches a number of primary techniques including forward rolls, back bends, cartwheels, round-offs, back extension rolls, and back handsprings.

Who May Enroll in Classes?

Classes are available for students ages 3 through 18.
* Introduction to Tumbling - ages 3 & 4
* Beginning Tumbling I - ages 5 - 12
* Beginning Tumbling II - ages 13 - 18
* Advanced Tumbling - ages 5 - 18

Which Classes Should I Attend?

Students ages 3 and 4 should attend Tiny Tots classes on Mondays and/or Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
* Those attending one class per week may select either Mondays OR Wednesdays.
* Those attending two classes per week will attend both classes.

Students ages 5 to 12 may attend Beginning I, Intermediate, or Advanced classes depending on skill level. Please plan to attend the Beginning I class on Tuesday or Thursday nights from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. for your first session. Instructor Bristee will evaluate at that time and recommend the appropriate classes.**
* Beginning I students attending one class per week may select either Tuesdays OR Thursdays.
* Beginning I students attending two classes per week will attend both.
* Intermediate students attending two classes per week may attend a Beginning I or Beginning II class for their second class.  Beginning II is recommended.
* Advanced students attending one class per week may select either Mondays OR Wednesdays.
* Advanced students attending two classes per week will attend both.

Students ages 13 to 18 may attend Beginning II, Intermediate, or Advanced classes depending on skill level. Please plan to attend the Beginning II class on Thursday nights from 7:15 - 8:15 p.m. for your first session. Instructor Bristee will evaluate at that time and recommend the appropriate classes.**
Beginning II students attending two classes per week may attend a Beginning I or Intermediate class for their second class.  Intermediate is recommended.

**If you are unable to attend the recommended initial class for an initial assessment, please contact Churchill County Parks and Recreation to make arrangements to attend a different class.

May I Attend a Trial Class Before Enrolling?

Potential participants may attend a trail class before formally enrolling and submitting payment for the month.  Participants who decide to enroll in the class following the trial will have their monthly start date set on the day of the trial class.

Check the list of classes to the right to see which classes may be attended for trials.

What Should I do if I Will Be Missing Class?

Participants should contact the instructor if they will be missing class.  Students who miss more than one class in a given month may receive a payment credit for future months if the instructor was given advance notification of the absence.

EQUIPMENT

Students are encouraged to wear athletic apparel (no jeans).  Classes are performed without shoes, so socks are also encouraged.
